DASH diet consists of :
- Wheat / grains * : consumption 5-8 times / day
- Vegetable : consume 4-5 times / day
- Fruits : consume 4-5 times / day
- Milk and dairy products low in fat or fat-free : consumption 2-3 times / day
- Lean meat,poultry, and fish : 6 times the consumption / day
- Nuts : consumption 4-5 times / day
- Fats and Oils : consume 2-3 times / day
- Sugar and Sweeteners : 5 times the consumption / week or less
(* more recommended whole grains (whole grain) as a source of food that is rich in fiber and nutrients)
