Itching is skin irritation that causes you to scratch. Itching can be localized (limited diarea a body) or generalized (occurring all over the body). This situation is common but often harmless. Common Cause
1. Comprehensive itch:
- Dry skin (cirrhosis) which is often caused by the addition of age, frequent bathing / hot bath, high temperature and low humidity. Stress and anxiety can also cause dry skin

- A bite or sting
- Certain drugs such as antibiotics
2. Itching in certain areas:
- Scalp : dandruff, lice, ringworm, skin dry clod

- Female genitalia (vulva) : dry, low hormone levels due to menopause
- Anus : hemorrhoids, intestinal worms

- Bacterial infection, if scratching causes the skin to peel
- Lack of sleep
- Fussy
- Bath regularly to keep the body protected from skin diseases, but do not overdo it. Too frequent bathing can cause dry skin and an itchy trigger. Avoid soaking in hot water, steam can also cause dry skin. Apply a moisturizer after bathing on a regular basis
- Apply calamine lotions or anti-itch cream. Avoid scratching due to flaky skin and infection. If dross tgatal, be carded but do not use nails, scratching at your fingertips
- Compress with ice cubes wrapped in a towel. Heat aggravate itch
- Drink antihistamines (anti-allergy medication). Do not drive or operate heavy machinery when you are taking antihistamines which can cause drowsiness during the day or you can take an antihistamine that does not cause drowsiness and low dose antihistamine at night
- If the suspected cause is a serious illness, or if symptoms persist despite treatment, consult your doctor

- Determine the cause and treat it. Checking involves collecting bits of skin to be analyzed, to determine whether there is an infection or not and to determine the cause of the itch organism
