- Dry your feet carefully suppressed by-press with a towel. Dry the part between your toes in order t o easily moist and easily become infected.
- Check the feet carefully on the existence of blisters, cuts, abrasions, skin discoloration, calluses, or swelling of the big toe caused by nail punctured (Cantengan). If you notice one or more of these symptoms consult your doctor immediately.
- Change socks or stockings every day. Use a clean, fit in the leg, not perforated and does not tear. More advisable to use the socks of cotton or wool rather than nylon because it is easier to absorb sweat (so feet stay dry).
- Keep your feet warm and dry always. Wear shoes made from soft leather to allow leather foot "keep breathing".
- Wash feet daily with warm water and soap that are mild (mild soap). Be careful when washing the feet sidelines.
- Cut toenails flat / straight. Miserly rough nail edges / sharp.
- Keep the skin of the foot, including the heel and sole of the foot, by applying lanonin still soft, but do not be smeared in between the toes. Avoid using Vaseline. If you are prone to sweaty feet, sprinkle powder specifically for foot or baby powder.
- Check the shoe or footwear that you will wear, is there a hole / tear, or other objects that can injure or irritate the skin of the foot.
- Do not walk barefoot, both in the role in the room / house or outside rumah.Kenakan shoes, sandals or other footwear that conforms to the shape and size of your foot.
DO NOT DO THIS :
- Soak feet in hot water or compress the foot with a hot water bottle.
- Using corn plaster (plaster that is used to soften calluses / eyelets on the legs) and other commercial products in the foot treatment.
